Justine Lasties Abramson

Jestine Lastie Abramson passed away comfortably surrounded by love ones on January 4, 2021. She was born August 25, 1927, in Opelousas, Louisiana to Henry Lastie and Alice Winery. She moved to California in 1946. She retired from the Los Angeles County Schools after many years of service. She traveled extensively around the world with her Late Husband who was a military veteran. She was a proud and senior member of the Elks where she received Elks of the year. Her interests included family, traveling, and beauty as she was a licensed cosmetologist. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members, including her father and son until they passed away. Ms. Abramson is survived by her beloved sister and distant caretaker Josie Rogers along with 3 other sisters, Henry, Mary and Bessie, 1 brother Robert, 2 special Nephews Patrick and Alerman, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Beloved Son Sonny and grandson Tony, along with 3 Brothers, William, Henry, Percy and beloved niece Brenda.
