Charles (Charlie) A. Covey Jr., 78, passed peacefully at home on January 23, 2021 in Marietta GA.
Charlie is survived by his three daughters Angela Duff and husband Sean of Buford, GA, Charlene Buck and husband Dennis of Hooksett, NH and April O’Connell and husband Patrick of Marietta, GA. He will be deeply missed by his three granddaughters Abigail, Sophia and Caroline. He is survived by his siblings Ernest Covey, Jacqueline (Covey) Brungot Blakely, and Kathy French.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles A. Covey Sr. and Sophia (Makarawicz) Covey, as well as his sister Carol (Covey) Mielnicki.
Charlie was born in Nashua, NH. He was very proud to have served our country in the Army and Navy. He retired from Nashua Corporation of Nashua, NH after working for them for 31 years.
He enjoyed hunting especially in Montana with his brother and nephew. He also loved traveling with his girls and family. His hobby and passion was entering various sweepstakes in which he won trips to the 1984 Olympics, celebrity Pro am golf tournament, a trip to Las Vegas, NASCAR race in Miami to as little as a T-shirt and everything in between.
The family would like to thank Sacred Journey Hospice and the VA Hospital for all their care and compassion.

I was so sorry to hear of Charlie’s recent passing. I remember Charlie as a kid growing up in the north country of New Hampshire…he was a kind soul and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Eric Brungot
a truly special friend , he will be missed it was our pleasure to have Charlie as a special friend and guest at Broken Arrow Lodge always a joy to have him visit while Scott and Ernie hunted. he was a very good, kind, and helpful man who loved his girls so much. it was very admirable how he cared for his family. we send our love and prayers to the family .
