Charles Leslie (Les) Watts, 77 died Friday, January 22, 2021. He was at home in Marietta, GA., in the care of hospice.
Leslie was born June 1, 1943, in Thomaston, GA, son of the late Hayward V. & Mable I. Caldwell Watts.
Leslie graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, class of l961. He studied at the University of Georgia and was a member of the ATO fraternity. Leslie later went on to join the U.S. Air Force, worked in intelligence & served during the Vietnam War. He later became a professor of computer science and taught for over 10 years at DeVry University. He had several bachelor's degrees.
Leslie was Married to Janet Peterson Miles & had celebrated 33 years of marriage in August.
He is survived by his sister Gerry Ard, nephew William Curtis, daughter Kelly Thomas, son Shannon Watts, grandchildren, many dear relatives and friends.
A service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
