McDonough Southern Cremations & Funerals
Shawntrell Deshawn Clark, 19, beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and dear friend to many was born in Cedar Rapids, IA. on August 28th, 2001. Shawntrell was called home to be with the Lord on February 6th, 2021, passing away at home with family. Although he has departed this earth in the physical sense, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts and minds of those who will continue to love him through eternity.
Known for his zest for life, Shawntrell dreamed of living life to the fullest, and often enjoyed traveling & visiting family and friends in the Midwest and East Coast. Gifted with an incredible sense of wonder, he loved and would often seek out knowledge and a deeper understanding for the greater meaning in many different areas about life, which led him to accepting Christ at a young age. Shawntrell, a devoted son & overprotective brother, was known to always be “in the know” of his siblings’ business. Which was all of course, in the name of care & love. Shawntrell attended Gwinnett County public schools, where he was also a member of the Gwinnett County Public School systems mentorship program for youth. Born to Shainon Veasey, of Snellville, GA and Rondell Clark, of Chicago, IL. Shawntrell was preceded in death by his paternal Grandfather, Willie Joe Davis and is survived by: His parents, Shainon Veasey & Rondell Clark, Maternal Grandparents, Delphine Veasey and Kevin Smith, Paternal Grandmother, Vanessa Davis, Brothers, Rondell Clark Jr., Demarcus Clay, & Darnell Clark Sisters, Ayyanna Clark, Rayanna Pittman, Ranasia Clark, & Ashley Clark, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones & friends.
Although he will be missed, we know that Shawntrell will be watching over us all until we meet again. Until then, he will remain at the center of our hearts and will forever be with us in spirit and thought.
We will always love you baby boy!
