James Michael Sheffield

Mr. James Michael(Mike) Sheffield,70, husband of Ann Hall Sheffield, died April 13,2021. He was born July 9,1950 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of the late James Daniel Sheffield and Lovette Hudson Sheffield. Mike graduated from North Clayton High School and Georgia Tech where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. For the last 27 years he was the owner of M & G Contractors serving the poultry industry. In addition to his wife he is survived by their son John Michael Sheffield and John's long- term girlfriend Sydney Ann Payne of Austin, Texas, his sister Susan Lea Nash and her husband William Alan Nash of Fort Wayne , Indiana. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his sister Marion Lovette Herbert. A private family service will be he held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, Breast Cancer Research, Office of Gift Records, Emory University, 1762 Clifton Road NE, Suite 1400, Atlanta, Georgia 30322.
