Mrs. Sarah Frances Rooks age 91 of East Point, GA. passed away Tuesday May 18, 2021. Mrs. Rooks was born January 13, 1930 to James Cammon and Vertie Darrington. She is preceded in death by her father James Cammon, mother Vertie Darrington ,husband of 50 years Robert Rooks, son Rodney Rooks, daughter Sheila Sumner, brothers Junior and Gene Cammon and sister Charlotte Motes. Mrs. Rooks is survived by her daughter Terri Thomson, daughter-in-law Carmel Rooks, son-in- law Wayne Thomson, 6 grandchildren Dwayne Sumner, Stacey Cook, Shawn Adamson, Chris Rooks, Jeffrey Thomson and Kimberly Rooks, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Rooks was a devoted wife of 50 years, a loving daughter, mother, mother-in-law, and mamaw. She loved her children and grandchildren. She loved the Lord and was a devoted, long time member of East Point First Baptist.
