Robert Knox Burns, Sr.

Robert Knox Burns died May 31, 2021 after a brief illness. Robert was born August 24, 1943 to parents William Brantley Burns and Martha Louise Mason Burns. He grew up in Atlanta GA but spent much of his later life in the Marietta area. Robert is survived by his two sons, Knox Burns (Tara), Troy Burns (Karen) and granddaughter, Ansley Burns. He is also survived by brother, Brantley Burns and sister, Barbara Burns Roper. He was a Real Estate Developer as well as a Building Code Inspector for the City of Smyrna. Robert loved Lake Rabun. He had so many happy memories there. Robert enjoyed laughter, boats, good food and drink and the friends these things brought together.
