Marietta Southern Cremations & Funerals
Adrianne was born in Baltimore, MD on August 17,1976 to Adel and Gary Thompson. Adrianne was also the youngest sibling out of two children. On May 31st, 2021 Adrianne grabbed the Lords hand and joined him to live an internal life with our heavenly Father.
In 1990 Adrianne moved to Decatur, GA, with her parents. Though it was difficult to leave her friends and family behind in Baltimore, MD, she made the best of the circumstances throughout the duration of her life. Adrianne attended Decatur High school and was able to find a piece of happiness by running track. Track was her safe haven a place for her to create long life friends which soon became an extended family to her.
In 1993 Adrianne gave birth to her one and only baby girl Bridget. Though Adrianne was just a teenager she was an amazing mother to Bridget. They both watched it each other grow into extraordinary women over the years, which is what made their bond unique and special in so many ways. Despite of being a young mother, she was still determined to accomplish the goals she had set out for herself. Adrianne was able to graduate from High School with a one year old baby by her side in 1994. In 1996 Adrianne attended Georgia State University where she was seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in the health care field. Though her health condition tried to hold her back in life she used her own pain as motivation to ensure her and her child did not go without.
Throughout her life time she purchased her first home, accomplished working in healthcare, and lived her last days as an employee working for Delta Airlines. Adrianne witness the efforts of her hard work pay off by witnessing Bridget become a Senior at Georgia State University, a wife, and a mother to her two grandchildren.
Adrianne will always be remembered as a sweet and caring soul. She was a giver and also expressed her love through giving to those around her. Her soft spoken voice will forever ring in our ears and her smile will never be forgotten.
