Forever in our hearts- you left the world a little less bright. We love you – Tracie
My condolences to Chris and his family. You dad was a wonderful person. You and him came to my house a couple times to do work. As I visited him at his house our conversation always will be a good memory.. prayers and blessings are coming your way.. We send out ❤️…
❤️Thanks Coach
When I moved here in August of 1998, the entire family welcomed me with open arms. I love John dearly and feel honored to call him family. Chris and Jonda, I’m so very sorry for your loss.
John Tucker is the same iconic man as Earl, Bob, and Frank. We didn’t know as children what it meant to be a man even though we had real men living in our houses. Our lives belong to them. I know Chris and Jonda will miss him as they raise their families in his honor
Thanks buddy- I always looked up to all of the dads- and they were all great role models.
Johnny will be so missed. His love for everyone and his sense of humor will be unsurpassed. I know he loved his kids, grandkids and Tracie. He idolized Elvis and I know when Chris took Johnny and Marie to Graceland it was like Heaven for him. He was so proud of his family and rightfully so. We love you Johnny Tucker and you will be missed.

Chase Tucker is typing this tribute to his Paw Paw My Paw Paw was the biggest Elvis fan. I remember a day not too long ago we were clearing out his Elvis room, every piece of Elvis memorabilia i took down from the wall i could ask him a question about it and if it had something to do with the king of rock and roll he would know. He taught me everything i know about Elvis Presley. Paw Paw gave me my middle name which is one of the many reasons we had such a special bond. I love him and miss him , wish i could visit him one more time.❤️ I’m proud to call him my Paw Paw.
❤️❤️
As I sit and reflect on my memories of Johnny, they all circle back to his infectious personality and him always managing to have a smile on his face. After a long and hard day at work, he would come home in his all white baker’s outfit and sit in his chair on the right in the Andover house to enjoy a cold beverage, smiling. No matter how many times us kids might have ran in the house and past him, he was always welcoming and smiling. And let me tell ya, I don’t think anyone can spray paint a car any better than Johnny. That Chevelle was the brightest car in the neighborhood! Many will reflect on his love of Elvis, but let me tell you…. Johnny’s love for Marie and the kids and his devotion to his family was second to none. He is and will be missed by all. Rest In Peace Mr. Tucker.
❤️Thanks buddy
Johnny is now hanging with his man Elvis.. What a great since of humor and a family man, he will be missed by many but not forgotten…. Memories and stories will continue to live on thru his family and friends….
❤️Thanks buddy!
As kids, hanging out with crew at the Tucker household was always exciting.I addressed him as Mr. Tucker, not because he asked, but because he deserved it. I had a tremendous amount of respect for him and Mrs. Tucker. They were so kind to me, Tre, Scott and JoJo. We always felt welcome, no matter how rowdy we got. They loved having us over and we enjoyed hanging out. Mr. & Mrs. Tucker we’re good people, who loved their kids and their friends unconditionally. What more could you ask for? We love you and thank you for always being so kind, loving and patient with us. God Bless BT
❤️Thanks buddy!
Reflecting on my memories of Mr. Tucker, he would always put his family first. I just always remember going over to the Tucker’s house, seeing Mr. Tucker sitting in the middle bedroom watching TV, to be greeted as family as soon as you walk through the door. The thing that sticks out in my mind the most was that his kids were going to get everything they needed first before he would give himself anything but he would normally do without! He did his job and raised a great family! I know he will be missed! Praying for the family! Joel Byrom Jo jo
Johnny was my Daddy’s (Atwood) best friend. Marie my Mom’s. They almost always spent their anniversaries which was the same day, at a Mckameys /Michael Combs gospel concert in Hogansville at Hoofers barn. After Daddy passed I went with them to take Mom the next year. That was the last one they shared. Have so many memories of him. I will really miss you Johnny Tucker! 😔❤
Johnny was a dear friend, and considered a brother by my dad. He & Marie are like an extension of my family. He had a kind heart, and a strong desire to serve the Lord. At a time when I really needed, God put him right in my path, an Johnny helped me to get a job with him at Rich`s bakery. He was a mentor on the job, and an inspiration to me in my personal relationship with God. He will be greatly missed.
