Fairburn Southern Cremations & Funerals
Marie “Recie” Mangham age 80, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday July 25th, 2021.
She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 9th, 1941, to the late Earnest Sr. and Odessa Mangham. Recie departed from Pittsburgh and made her way to New York, where she met and married the late Clifford Landon Williams. From their union, they became parents to one daughter, Tracey R. Williams. In New York, she showed how caring she was by feeding the homeless on most holidays. She later moved from New York to Atlanta, Georgia and started her own cleaning business, White Glove Inspections. Recie loved her family and friends, her passion was sharing and caring. She loved traveling and keeping up with the latest fashion, but most of all she loved the Lord. Recie was a devoted woman of God. She was baptized at a young age and kept her faith throughout life. Recie was a legend in her own right, she made sure to reach out to those in need and show her kindness in helping others. She was always the one to make someone’s day. She had a fun, loving spirit that will be missed by many. She is gone but never forgotten.
Recie was preceded in death by her parents Earnest Sr. and Odessa Morris Mangham; husband Clifford Landon Williams; and brothers Earnest Mangham Jr., Homer Mangham, Edward Mangham, and Robert Mangham.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter Tracey R. Williams; sister Lillian Johnson; sister in law Jean Mangham; brother in law Eddie Graham; grandchildren Mia Williams, Justin Ogato, and Aaliyah Ogato; great grandchildren Jalen Allen, Jeremiah Williams, and Ameire Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
