Jerome Dunson Sr.

Mr. Jerome Dunson Sr. was born on June 7, 1951, to the late Ms. Mildred Dunson and Mr. Arthur Mooty Sr. in Newnan, Georgia. He made his transition in the comfort of his home with his family at his bedside on July 31, 2021. Jerome was preceded in death by: Mother Ms. Mildred Dunson, Father Arthur Mooty Sr. of Cleceland, Ohio, Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Pauline Dunson, Father-in-Law Mr. Daniel Davidson of Birmingham, Alabama, Uncle Mr. Willie Joe Dunson Jerome graduated from Newnan High School class of 1969, he also graduated from Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama. Jerome was employed with Kmart as an Assistant Store Manager also, Delta Air Line as a Contract Sales Courier where he retired. Jerome was baptized at an early age at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Newnan under the leadership of Rev. HH Dyer. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: Wife of 44 years Brenda J. Dunson, Children: Marianetta Renee Fitzpatrick of Montgomery, Alabama, Mr and Mrs. Jerome Jr. and Airiel Dunson, Ms. Jahan Nicole Dunson, Sister Ms. Cynthia Ann Dunson, Brother Arthur Mooty Jr of Cleveland, Ohio, Aunts: Mrs. Mary Dunson, Mrs. Lousie Davidson (Johnnie) of Vandalia, Ohio, and Ms. Rochelle Herring of New York, Uncle: Mr. and Mrs. Marion “Bee” and Geraldine Herring, Mother-in-Law Mrs. Margaret Davidson, Sister in Laws: Mrs. Jennifer Potterfield, Ms. Sharon Davidson, Ms. Rosalyn Davidson, Mrs. Linda Tyson (Joseph), Mrs. Cynthia Brown (Robert), Ms. Carol Davidson of Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Angela Hamilton, Ms. Kimberly Davidson, Ms. Penelope Davidson, Brother-in-Law Mr. Faruq Abdul Rahma all of Birmingham, Alabama, Grandchildren: Tamela Fitzpatrick, Dandrea Evans Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama, August Amor Dunson of Atlanta, Georgia, Great- Grandchild Eiland Armon Evans, Special Cousins: Renee Render and Regina Brewster and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.
