Jerry Jerome McRae

Jerry Jerome McRae affectionately known as 'J-Mack' was born, in Miami, Florida on September 10, 1990. The bundle of joy presented so much happiness to his parents Daisy Mae Bell and Jerry Lewis McRae. He was the youngest child and only son to his parents, whom both preceded him in death. He was adored and truly loved by his older sister Janeta. Jerry was raised by his adopted mother, Arnetha James Sawyer and father Errol Sawyer. Spending his primary years in Miami, Florida. He attended Little River Elementary, Edison Middle School and later transferred to North Cobb High School after his family relocated to Acworth, Georgia. His love of cars began at an early age. As a small child, he would line up his cars (dozens of Hot Wheels), in the hallway of their Miami home and play for hours on end. He was a jokester and loved his siblings, niece and family. He also loved the game of football, he played for North Cobb High School Varsity Team, as one of their running backs and receiver. His favorite professional team was the Cincinnati Bengals, and his favorite college team was the Florida State Seminoles. Early on Monday, August 9th, around 6 AM, the Lord saw His son was tired, and could no longer fight his battle. The Lord gave him eternal rest, from his earthly home. Before his passing Jerry would spend hours with his Aunt Joyce and Uncle Kevin in Bible Study and in deep sessions about our Lord and Savior, and during one of those teachings, Jerry gave his life to Christ. Jerry was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bessie Mae Bell Johnson, grandfather Caskie Bell. His mother, Daisy Mae Bell and father Jerry Lewis McRae. He will be truly missed, and his memories will live on through his devoted family; Dedicated and Loyal parents, Arnetha and Errol Sawyer. Loving siblings, Sisters, Janeta Nicole Bell and Ayanna Farah Sawyer, Brother, Hakeem Marquis Sawyer, and Doting Niece Imani Alayah Lee. Devoted Aunt and Uncle, Maria and Kyle Jones. Additional Family; he leaves to cherish the memory of his life; Aunts Joyce Ann Johnson (Kevin), Judy, Evelyn, Rosetta, and Maxine Bell, and Uncle David Bell. Along with a host of cousins , friends and relatives.
