Born to Mr. Alexandre Ferdinand and Mama Caseus, she was one amongst 13 children on her father’s side with 7 brothers and 6 sisters. She loved being around her children and grandchildren. She loved to make Haitian jokes about the kids and when she first came to the US she was worried she wouldn’t be able to communicate with the kids due to a language barrier but my kids made a great effort to learn the Haitian Creole language so grandma would comfortable. She loved to watch Haitian movies on YouTube with the grand kids and whenever she was bored she would walk around the park with my youngest daughter, Evelyne, which she considers as her youngest daughter – couldn’t nobody talk or touch Evelyne for any reason when Tibobo was around. Tibobo was always a happy spirited person to be around. Tibobo to me was one of the most super woman moms I know, she would do anything for her five daughters. She was strong courageous and fearless about any situation, and didn’t play games about her children’s wellbeing. My mother told me a story where when I was in Haiti she left me with my dad and my grandma had sent me to an all-girl school without her permission – and a week later when she came back and found out, she spent the whole night waiting on the owner of the school to take her to the place my grandma sent me and made sure she took me back. And when I was baby and got sick one night in Haiti, she wrapped me up in a blanket, walked miles and miles to the hospital in the middle of the night to make sure I would be okay. She has been an entrepreneur in a country which provides little to no opportunity for successful growth. Tibobo would do anything and make up any type of hustle to provide for her children. She is one of the most selfless people I know, who would go above and beyond for all her children as a single mom, even if that meant giving away her comfort and sacrificing her own needs for any of us. She leaves behind a brother, Sony Ferdinand, 5 daughters: Ronalda Paillant Manasse, Phara Paillant, Fabienne Fevry, Christella Fevry, Christelle Lindor, 7 grandchildren: Geremiah Paillant, Andre Manasse, Rose Manasse, Bentley Manasse, Sara’i’ka Mardoche’e, Wood Mardoche’e, and Evelyne Manasse, not to mention many cousins, nephews, nieces, uncles and aunties. Tibobo you will truly be missed. Only God knows why you were taken from us now. I’m relieved that you are no longer in pain and you are now with your Heavenly Father. We love you and you will be forever in our hearts. _________ María Quebonita Ferdinand, Yon fanm  ki djanm, Yon solda  yon manman 5 pitit fi Ronalda, phara, Fabienne, Christella, Christelle pale de manmanm ka pran yon etènite telman Sam viv avèl yo gen anpil esplikasyon, manmanm te renmen chante e danse tout mizik koupe kloure yo,manmanm t renmen manje lam anpil Li renmen bwè bouyon ki pa gen twòp konplikasyon, manmanm renmen tout sa ki senp e se youn nan rezon ki fèl trè natirèl, manmanm  se yon fanm ki te prè poul fè tout move djòb ak tout komès poun pa grangou e poun pa soufri, manmanm pa janm gad sou papá pitit Li yo  poul jere pitit manmanm se fanm kap sanble zafè pitit li depi Noël pou rive Septembre manmanm te yon modèl manmanm pat yon Sen Li te gen defo men kalitel yo ak sansibilitel t fèm wè defol yo kòm degi, manmanm —
