Richard Southard was a native of California and came to Georgia in 2014. He was a caring, loving man and lead his family with honor and Godliness. Richard loved everyone and especially Little Man who was his baby. He adored his wife Becky but he loved God so much more. He worked for 25+ years at US Farms Systems in CA and was their Territory Manager for the Southeast. Richard is survived by his wife Becky, his mother Mary Southard, and Patti Schoolcraft, his partner in crime & mother in law, Also, his children Ashli Watson (Joshua), Garrett Southard, Kellie Shirie (Noah) and Kyle Shirie. Siblings JR Southard (Janet), Cindy Edroso (Damon) and Cheryl Beck (Shawn). His sister in law Cyndi Alizawi, his nieces & nephews: Amanda Rose, Dana Jean, Bub, Sean Henderson, Becky Patton, Dustin Patton (Kelsey), Andrew Valero, and James Valero and his best buddy Jerry Ray. Richard was a beautiful man of God who never met a stranger and was kind to everyone.

Richard was every mother-in-laws dream. I never worried about my Daughter Becky because I knew Richard would always take care of any problem she had. They loved each other with a true heart. We will miss him every day for as long as we all live. He brought light to our family, and much fun , love and laughter. Rest Easy Richard. We will take care of your precious Becky until the two of you are together again.
