Ronnie Eugene Dockery 10/24/47 - 9/24/21
It’s hard to lose someone you love, but it's harder to see them suffer. Knowing
your loved one is among the angels gives us great comfort. On Friday,
September 24, 2021, Ronnie Eugene Dockery , 73, of Tyrone, Georgia rejoined
his heavenly family and gained his wings. He was born October 24, 1947 in
Atlanta, Georgia. Son of the late Millard Dockery Jr. and Vivian Dockery.
Ronnie was a strong willed person. He tackled many hardships in his life and
overcame them all. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great
grandfather. He loved country music and telling jokes.. He loved camping and
fishing. He loved his country and was a proud Army Veteran. He loved the Lord.
His physical presence will be greatly missed, but his spirit will always be with us.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Dockery, his children; Rhonda Cunningham,
Kimberly Becker, Tracy Clay and Pete Willingham, sister; Linda Willis, 8
grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 Wednesday, September 29,2021 at
Southern Cremations and Funerals at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn,
Georgia. The family will receive friends 2PM - 4PM before the service at
Southern Cremations and Funerals; 431 SW Broad St, Fairburn, GA 30213

Ron was a wonderful man. I had the pleasure of working with him, and calling him a friend. You could always count on him. He went out of his way to help, wether it be at work or on his personal time. I’m pretty sure he walked through Heavens Gates high stepping and telling a joke.
