Robert Harvey Speer Jr

August 15, 1958 ~ October 14, 2021

Robert H. Speer, Jr., also known as "The Magic Lawyer®" passed away peacefully at North Fulton on October 14, 2021, and went to be with his Lord at the age of 63 years old. Born in Atlanta, Ga, on August 15,1958, he was raised in Dunwoody, Ga and later Decatur, Ga. Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Speer, mother Joanna Reese Speer, stepmother Gloria Tyler Speer, grandmother Lucille Stilley McCormick, and stepbrother Marcus Taylor, all of Ga. Survived by his loving wife Julia Speer. Lovingly remembered by daughter Ashleigh Stanford (Richard), his brother Philip Ellison Speer, brother-in-law Glenn Corbett, stepbrother Jeffery Taylor, stepsister Christina Polcyn (Donnie), step niece Brittany Arias, and step nephew Carson Boyd. Robert attended Druid Hills High School and was voted in as class President. Robert later went into the Marines, after which he worked in sales and the attended law school at Georgia State University where he received his law degree. Robert also ran his own practice, Speer Law Office, PC, and during his career incorporated his love of Magic with his passion for law, becoming The Magic Lawyer® which he has the trademark on. An accomplished attorney of 32 years, Robert will be remembered for his exceptional work ethic, honesty and his no BS approach, not to mention his passion for his family and his love of Magic. This amazing man, husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, stepbrother, step uncle, friend, and neighbor left an indescribable mark on this earth and will be missed and celebrated forever.   3. My Brother saved my life along with the Lord. They had a DNR on my chart and he with Julia fought with the staff at Kennestone Wellstar to revive me after my stroke. I now reside in a nursing home because of him. I will miss him greatly. Lord Bless All !!!

  9. Our hearts are sadden by his lost, but we know he is home and showing everyone his magic. He was a great friend to our family. Rob and his wife hosted my oldest sons 10th bday at their house and it something that he still remembers to this day and my oldest son is 20 years old now. He loved my mother much, she is from Denmark so he always would tell everyone well there’s Karoline the crazy Danish daughter lol. My family and I have known Rob for alot of years, he use to live in the same neighborhood as we do. He was a great person inside and out, he knew how to make someone smile. We are praying for his wife and family, our hearts go out everyone. Love from the Johnson household.

  10. I have so many wonderful memories with my friend. The World Magic Seminar gave us the opportunity to meet and create many memories that I cherish often and especially today. I am truly saddened by the loss of this man with an unmatched personality and kindness that touched every heart and lit up every room for which he will always be remembered for.
