Kathrynne Louise Lynch, 28, of Marietta, GA was born on July 23, 1993 and taken from us suddenly on October 10, 2021. She was a graduate of Wheeler High School in Marietta, where she played fast-pitch softball. She was engaged to Kristina Gifford and had a 10-year old son, Liam Gifford. Katie was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed fitness, travel, art and spending quality time with the love of her life, son, family and friends. Katie most recently worked for Main Event, with a history of working in management for family entertainment centers and restaurants. She had a spirit of leadership that launched her to success. She also has a history of working on live theatre sets, home remodeling and plumbing. Katie was survived by her Fiancé, Kristina Gifford; Son, Liam Gifford; Mother, Kristine Polasky; Stepfather, Chuck Polasky; Sister, Emma Lynch; Stepbrothers, Max and Ben Polasky; Grandmothers, Yolanda Harvey and Ruth Lynch; and a multitude of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. One of my most favorite memories of my niece Katie, is when I called her to come get a raccoon out of her Mema’s house. We were so scared, but we knew Katie wasn’t and that she could handle it. We laughed so hard with her over that thing. Thank you Katie for protecting us and loving us. xoxo – Aunt Kelley Lynch Austin and family

  2. Aunt Janie Harvey Garner says:

  9. To Katie’s Parents and Siblings. My deepest sympathies at the loss of your beautiful daughter and sister. My prayers are with you as I ask God to guide you during these very dark days and to see you through to the light. Feel the love and support of all those around you. Katie’s life can not be in vein. One day – it will be clear of how to go on. I promise you – you will honor Katie’s life. I too lost my 24 son to a tragic drowning accident. They say God only gives you what you can handle. Sometimes I wonder. With condolences and prayers, Victoria M. Prinzi

  10. I met Katy just a short few months ago. She actually scared me. I am the housekeeper at Main Event and usually in the building alone. The first day she started there I came around a corner and she appeared. It startled me but she ever so kindly reached out her hand and said hi joyfully my name is Katy and I am the new maintenance manager. From that day on I was always happy to see her. I got the impression that if she had enemies they were far and very few and for sure a easy person to become good friends with. Sad to say unfortunately she is already missed and my heart go out to her family.

  11. Lori & Christopher McCartney says:

May your heart and soul find peace and comfort. We are so sorry for your loss.

  12. Kristine, you and your family have been in my thoughts. Sending so much love to you today and prayers for peace and comfort.
