Angelika Friedel Adams

Our beloved mother Angelika Adams, 80, of Marietta, Ga. passed away on 6 November 2021, with our father lovingly by her side. Born in Koenigsberg, East Prussia to Richard and Elsa Kolberg. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Imi and brother Alfred. She was a loving and fiercely devoted wife, mother and Oma to her children and Grandchildren. She was a supportive and proud Military spouse and worked outside the home as a trained bookkeeper and in office personal for the U.S. Army. She loved being surrounded by family, having gatherings at the home, never forgot your birthday, smiled easily, laughed often, loved books, travel, music, good conversation and shared her love of her culture and traditions with us all. She fought courageously, showed us strength and love through it all with our father ever by her side. We love you, Mom. She is survived by her husband David Adams, daughter Judy (Patrick) Presley-Richards, daughter Tina Ivory, daughter Cathy Burdette, and son Jim (Judy) Adams. Grandchildren Jeremy, Melissa, Timothy, Nathan, Joshua, Tyler, Emily, and Rachel. Great-Grandchildren, Austin, Kayleigh, Aiden and Catherine.
