Richard Ralph Montgomery, age 69, passed peacefully Saturday November 20, 2021, in Conyers, GA. Richard Ralph Montgomery is survived by his wife Paulette Montgomery, of Conyers, Ga; sons Marc Montgomery and Anne of Covington, Ga; Michael Montgomery of Conyers, GA. He is predeceased in death by his father Ralph Montgomery. Richard R. Montgomery was born on March 29, 1952, in LaGrange, Ga, to Margaret Montgomery and Ralph Montgomery. In 1983 he moved to Conyers and accepted a position with Griffith Labs, where he worked for 32 years. Richard was a great family man and a loving father. He married Paulette Montgomery in 1974 and the couple had 2 children together. Richard was a social, active man who was deeply involved in gardening, photography and bird watching. After retirement he could be found playing in the dirt, photographing his garden, or filming the critters in the back yard. His friends will always remember him as a generous and helpful person.
