Michael James Edwards

October 3, 1974 ~ December 23, 2021

Michael James Edwards age 47, passed away suddenly on Thursday December 23, 2021. He was a loving son, brother, and friend. Michael was born and raised in Metro Atlanta. He worked for Photo Circuit for 14 yrs and later became disabled. Michael was so giving of his time, especially in the care of his mother and aunt, he did their cooking, cleaning, and shopping. He also took care of his cats, that he so adored. Michael was preceded in death by his father David Leroy Edwards Sr. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, mother Vannah Edwards, brother David Leroy Edwards Jr., sister Lisa Ann Davenport, aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and friends.

  1. No matter what I will never forgot the wonderful memories we had. I remember when I became a single moma you was always there to make sure my oil and everything was good in my car. This hasn’t been easy but I know you are up there fishing . You was one of the best cousins I could ask for. Going to miss you! Love you!

  4. Michael was my favorite cousin, probably because he was the one closest to my age and I actually grew up with him. I remember watching him play his guitar. He loved to play AC/DC songs and did so very well. I remember walking the streets of Union City with him and my siblings many times. He could keep you laughing and a smile on your face, he was full of love, kindness, and joy. Michael you will be missed dearly by all and surely not forgotten. RIP Cousin

  6. I remember Michael from a little boy to a grown man. He my son’s best friend. Michael always treat with respect. I talked with him in early December. I told him how much I appreciated him being Jody’s friend, that I was praying for him and told him I loved him. I asked him to stay in touch and to take care. Michael said he was trying, that is was hard. I told him that I love and appreciate him.
