In loving memory of Ms. Olivia Diane Burke Ms. Olivia Diane Burke was born on December 23rd 1950 in Macon Georgia. She was the daughter of the late William Burke and her mother Rosa Walker. Olivia departed her life in the hospital on January 7th 2022 after a courageous Journey from the covid virus. Olivia was also known as a young lady growing up in Macon Georgia with the nickname Dottie and was better known in her later years to everyone by her middle name Diane. Olivia was educated in the Macon County School System Peter G Apple high School. Olivia also received her associate's degree in business where she was valedictorian of her class in the late 1980s in New York City. Olivia relocated back to Georgia in the early 90s to Atlanta Georgia. She worked for the Georgia Department of Human Resources for over 20 years where she retired. Olivia was a loving person who enjoy fellowshipping with her friends and family. Olivia was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Olivia loved to watch western movies and she was a big fan of John Wayne. Olivia leaves to cherish her precious memory: Her mother Rose Walker of New York City. Her 3 children, Cassandra Richardson of Atlanta Georgia, Raquel Burke of Decatur Georgia, Jarmel (Lakicha) Burke of Douglasville, Georgia. 5 grandchildren Emilia Robertson, Justin Richardson, Iyanna Harper, Tariq Burke, Quianna Burke and one great- grandchild Tailynn Wriley Kimbough two sisters Deborah (Tory, Nicky) Burke, Michelle Walker and one brother Vernon Walker from New York City and a host a loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

  3. To Olivia’s family: My name is Brenda Martin and Olivia was a very close friend. We worked together at DHHS/ ACF for many years. It was a sad day for me when I heard about her death; we had talked many times about having lunch after the pandemic was over or at least not as dangerous. Gwen, Olivia, and I had many three-way calls to laugh together and reminisce about old times. I will miss her. Please call me at 770-251-3577 when you can.
