Teresa Deloris Selman

December 27, 1949 ~ February 1, 2022

Teresa Selman was born December 27, 1949, in Marietta, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents J.C. Jones and Mattie Lois Jones. She is survived by her children Angela Bannister (Jeffery Bannister) and Trudy Amos; Grandchildren: Rachel Amos, Hailey Owens (KJ Owens), Nichole Hunt, Garrett Amos, Grace Hunt and Blaise Amos; Great-Grandchildren: Annalee Clifton and Gabriella Kennedy. Teresa loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren and loved to spoil her pets, Sam and Rocky. She enjoyed all things Victorian and taking trips to Savannah when she could. In her younger years, she spent time with her friends and loved learning new hobbies such as interior design, acrylic nails and cooking. In her later years, she loved to work on her dollhouse miniatures, watching sci-fi and mystery shows and spending time teaching her grandchildren recipes and crafts. She leaves behind a lasting impression made on anyone she met and will be deeply missed. Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I have so many good memories from my years of friendship with Teresa….I could never pick out just one memory to share. She and I were friends for no less than 50 years and we had such good times together. She was always there for me and helped me through a lot of rough times during my first marriage. She was fun to be with, very independent and was not afraid of anything. I always envied her for those qualities and the fact that she was able to live on her own for most of her life, something I most likely could not handle. We had the best times camping, shopping, going to movies, riding four wheelers, going out to clubs where there was dancing (she loved dancing) and partying at my house. Since we no longer lived close to one another in later years it was hard to visit back and forth so we remained in contact by phone. Sonetimes we would go for months between phone calls but always picked up where we left off. She was the best and closest friend I have ever had and I will miss her terribly. I am thankful for the memories I have of her and will undoubtedly fall back on them quite often. I am thankful that the pain is over for her. I cannot believe she is gone.. Rest in peace my friend.

May God bring you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
