Daniel Richard Ryan

May 21, 1986 ~ March 2, 2022

Danny Ryan was a Journeyman Electrician, Steward, member of IBEW Local 613, and professional Drummer, died unexpectedly on March 2, 2022, at the age of 35. He was a resident of Suwanee Ga and worked for Inglett & Stubbs LLC. Danny is survived by his parents Kathleen and Richard Ryan of Kennesaw ga, and his sister Bridget Berger of Marietta ga. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He also graduated from the 5-year IBEW Apprenticeship program for Inside Wireman. Danny was an amazing drummer that played is several bands. His 1st band was Searbh, then a neo-soul duo called Drizzle, an alternative rock band called Integen, next was metal band Burial Rites. He went on to comedy/grind band Pork! and death/grind band Vomitized!. His big break was when he joined Gigan. They recorded at Volume Studios with Sanford Parker and toured the US. He played shows in Canada with the Viking metal band TYR from Sweden. Playing with TYR at Pagan-fest was one of his greatest experience in front of 2,000 enthusiastic French Canadians who gave him a very warm welcome! Other bands he played in include Apocalyptic Visions, Waking the Bates, and Malefic. His most recent bands which he recorded with and played live with: Dead Register, Universal Divide, and Ecryptus. He had just started playing with the band Inviolate. He was also very involved with the IBEW Local 613 union activities, proud of his membership, and often volunteered to help others. He was an avid SCI-FI fan and loved movies such as Dune and Aliens. Danny was a loving and creative man with a big heart and offbeat sense of humor. He loved his family and had many friends including his union brothers and sisters, and musicians. A celebration of Danny’s incredible life will be held from 2-5 pm on Friday, March 11th, 2022, at Southern Cremations & Funerals, 1861 Dallas Highway, Marietta.

  1. There are no words to express how sorry I am and how much you will be missed. Your dorky, silly, humor could bring a smile even on the darkest of days. Your talent as a drummer was far beyond measure and the sense of pride you conveyed on becoming a journeyman and union steward was truly inspiring.
