Denetrius Denise Wallace

August 4, 1970 ~ March 11, 2022

Denetrius “Denise” Wallace was born in Atlanta, GA to Bessie Young and James Clark. Denise was the oldest of two children raised in East Atlanta. She attended the local grade schools and graduated from Chamblee High School in 1988, where she was known as one of the MVP members of their track team. Driving for other people was one of her greatest joys and accomplishments. Denise joined MARTA one of the largest transportation organizations in Atlanta, Georgia during the early part of her adult life. Meeting and greeting the clients on her daily route was pure joy to her life. She was promoted several times and even became one of their Rail Operators, which was a great accomplishment for her and her career path. At her passing she was devoted to transporting the airport employees while working for the company Unifi Services. Denise was a very quiet spirit, but she was a wealth of knowledge and talent. She had many hobbies and talents that included scrapbooking, photography, traveling, and party planning. For years she enjoyed serving by volunteering for different organizations and leading her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop. She was an avid gardener and loved growing her own produce and fruit during the harvest season. But mostly, Denise enjoyed being a mother, wife, and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren who affectionately called her “Nana.” She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Michael B. Wallace; two sons, Dustin Clark and Aaron Bentley, one daughter, Brittany Bentley, two bonus children, Chelsea Gatlin and Ronald Peterson, her loving brother and mother, Deshunti Dorsey and Bessie Wallace, three grandsons, Jarell McMillon, Nolan Thompson, and Kingston Bentley, and one granddaughter , Erin Bentley, a bonus Dad to her children, Ronald Peterson, and a host of family and friends. May her great works forever live in all whom she has touched through love and laughter, as she will forever be missed in our hearts.
