Mary Ann Cline, age 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2022, in Austell, Georgia. She was born on March 17, 1944, in Marietta to Anna Shild Mann Wells and graduated from Campbell High School in 1962. She married Johnny in 1962 and moved to Powder Springs. The couple had 2 children together and four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She worked for more than 38 years in Customer Service with Mead Products. She enjoyed spending time with her family and working in the yard. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving wife, mother and memaw. She is preceded in death by her mother, Anna Shild Mann Wells. Mary is survived by her husband, Johnny Gerald Cline of Powder Springs, Ga, her daughters, Denise Swofford of Powder Springs, GA and Tracy Polk of Emerson, Ga, her grandchildren, Christopher Kyle Swofford, Nicole Leanna Swofford, Stephanie Danielle Bryant, Emily Anna Bryant, her great grandchildren, Lola Jane Lynch and Zachary Wells Lynch, a brother, Raymond Wells, of Marietta and a number of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill beginning at 2 pm with Father Brad Jones, officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. A reception will be held after the service at 5497 Hill Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
