Virginia Lee Rayne Mohamed born December 27,1937 in Baltimore, Maryland peacefully passed away April 25, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia surrounded by her loving children.
Virginia had a creative spirit and led a vibrant life filled with her many passions such as art, music, poetry, and of course horseracing and casino gambling. Most of all Virginia loved spending time with her family and friends.
Virginia's career as a Baltimore Public Elementary School teacher spanned over 29 years and she was loved by her students and colleagues.
Virginia is survived by her 3 children Fatha Leigh Mohamed, Donna Marie Tyler, Shari Virginia Simpson, her 10 grandchildren (Fatha) Latasha Mohamed-Moss, Lakesha Mohamed, Delonte Mohamed, Courtney Mohamed, Alexis Mohamed-Tetter(Marques), Lauren Mohamed, (Donna) Kerwin Tyler(Katherine), Krystal Tyler-Peterson (Douglas), (Shari) Sarah Rayne Simpson and Dru Simpson III, 23 great grandchildren, 9 great-great children, her best friend Lucille Do'nofrio and a host of friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
