Hubert Franklin Waters Jr., An Artist, Draftsman, Medical Records Clerk, Driver, Researcher, Biker, Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Cousin, Friend, and Protector. Born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to Hubert Franklin Waters Sr. and Lilly Felder Speed on March 8, 1956. He is the 4th of the 9 siblings. Franklin relocated to Atlanta, GA shortly after his brother, the 5th Sibling, his Lifetime Roommate, Reggie was born. They were raised in the Dixie Hills Community.
Franklin was energetic and diligent in all he pursued. He was a diligent seeker of God. He explored Christianity, Islam, Scientology, and others before embracing the Rich Heritage of the BLACKA MOOR. He is a product of Atlanta Public Schools; Graduating from Anderson Park Elementary and Frederick Douglass High School, Class of 74. Franklin received his formal education at Morris Brown College, Atlanta, Georgia.
His Occupation Objectives landed him at GRADY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL; ATLANTA PUBLIC SCHOOLS; the STATE OF GEORGIA; and the CITY OF ATLANTA; HARTSFIELD JACKSON ATLANTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT as well as numerous Private Entities.
Franklin loved FAMILY. He was the main Public Relations (PR) Person for the ODOM/STUBBS/RANDALL FAMILY. We could expect, the Grandson of Mary A. Randall Waters & the Grandnephew of Luddie G. Randall Odom, to call each of us, often, with updates and his newest business ventures. We could also expect Franklin to photograph us, whenever we were in his sight.
Hubert Franklin Waters Sr., his father; Thomas Speed, his oldest brother; and Leslie Waters, the first sister to be born after him; all preceded him in transitioning.
Franklin leaves to cherish his memory: his Mother, Lilly Felder Speed; 4 Sisters: Renae Speed, Christine Felder (Phil), Lisa Harvey, and Orvella Ruiz; 2 Brothers: Reggie Waters and Kevin Waters; his only living Paternal Uncle: Rev. John W Waters, Ph.D; a 1st Cousin/Sister, Marion Waters; a 3rd Cousin/Brother, Lawrence Michael Williams; a Cousin-in-law/Sister, Elaine Neal Stubbs; an innumerable host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends (most treated more like brothers and sisters); and Numerous Schoolmates.
