Janice Greene-Lee, age 65, passed away on August 20, 2022. She was an amazing, generous woman who loved gardening, dogs, and the sun. She was born in Melrose, MA, moved to Florida and graduated from Pompano Beach High School in 1975. After graduation she worked for the Boca Raton Police Department as a Crime Analyst. She retired from the Police Department in 2001 and moved to Tyrone, GA and most recently worked for D.B. Roberts in the sales department until May of 2022.
Janice was predeceased by her father Jack Greene; mother Betty Greene; and brothers Bill Seery and Jim Seery.
Janice leaves behind her son Gregory Lee; brother Jack Greene; sister-in-law Marge Greene; sisters Andrea Ambrogne and Debbie Romano; and several nephews, nieces and their families. Janice was well loved by many friends, including her boyfriend Larry Bunty and his family; her best friends Susan Horne, and Whitney Fitzgerald and her family. Janice considered Whitney’s two children as her grandchildren, both Mari and Eli. She will be missed by everyone who has crossed her path.

So sorry to hear about Janice’s passing. She was truly one of the good employees at the Boca Raton Police Department. All the years I worked with her , never realized to she to Pompano Beach High. I graduated from there in 1968……Philip Sweeting.
I am so sorry for your loss of a beautiful woman. When working with Janice at BRPD, she was always willing to assist in any with crime analysis. Janice was the only analysis that provided crime trends, potential suspects information or area crime trends. I will remember and love her work. But is now working as an angel of God. We had your memorial today Janice. You are truly missed by the people who love you and honor being part of your life. As your sister I will miss you every day. Thank you for all the joy you brough to my life. I’m so glad we had so may adventures. Love you always, Debbie.
