Mikheal James

Mekheal Benard James was born on February 8th, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York where he grew up and lived most of his life.He was born to the late Sydney James and Bernice (Skeans) James Sutherland.He was a proud Christian and volunteered at various homeless shelters in New York and Atlanta.A few years ago, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he thrived and made many friends. He traveled out of town for business but had recently returned to Atlanta where he passed away on September 2nd, 2022.He worked in investment banking for over 10 years and enjoyed traveling and meeting people. He earned numerous commendations in the investment banking industry for his hard work.He was very charismatic and very likeable. Mekheal will be deeply missed and always remembered.He is predeceased by Mr. Sydney James (father), Mrs. Bernice (Skeans) James Sutherland (mother), and Ammie Lee Skeans (grandmother).He is survived by his cousin Carol Rodgers (Antonio); best friend and cousin Patricia Williams (Dwight); Diane Cazeu, Bobby Wheeler, Joseph Wheeler (Jerica); and special friends, Alexandra Tsoutsas, April Peeples, and Preston Evans.Special thanks to everyone who called, texted or donated.
