On September 8, 2022, Melanie Luppens (Sudie) of Dallas, Georgia, passed away peacefully in the comforts of her home. She was surrounded by the love of her family. Melanie made the world a little brighter on June 10, 1943. She was the third of seven children (Kent, Edward. Ned, Diane, Janel, and Don) of Elmyra and Edward Throckmorton. She started life as a fierce and vibrant personality that was as memorable as her stunning red hair. She was tenacious and motivated by hard work and education. She graduated from Nova University with a master's degree in speech language pathology at the top of her class. Her professional career included working as a speech language pathologist at Hillsborough County school system in Florida and Floyd/Paulding County school system in Georgia. Her true love was working with children, shaping young minds, and fostering their development. Melanie was a beautiful and brave spirit. Her sense of with a nd humor made conversations with her a true source of entertainment. Melanie will be remembered with every ray of sunshine, each hot cup of tea, and through the cherished memories of her family.Now that Melanie has passed away to join our heavenly Father, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of her physical life on Earth, it is only the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. Sudie joins her parents in Heaven along with many other beloved family members. With a joyous reunion that must be!Melanie is survived in life by her dedicated husband Ronald Luppens; son, Doug (Rebecca); daughter Khristine (Michael); her grandchildren Michaela (Shaun), Sarah (Robert), Joey, Noah (Brooke), John, Myles, Declan, Daniel, and Cash; her beautiful great-grandchildren Riley, Brayden, Maddox, Oliver, Ryland, her puppies Dutch and Ginger, and many other precious family members.To honor Melanie's memory, a celebration of life will be held with her family.
