  1. When I think of a grandfather, I think of Art, we all call him Grandpa. When I was a young teenager he took me in with his big loving arms, when I became a mother he did the same for my children. I will always remember his big belly laughing, dancing while cooking on the grill and his love to have everyone over to swim and celebrate. He was an amazing example of what a Grandfather should be, he taught me so much about love and forgiveness and how to have fun. He gave his heart to so many and now his heart lives on through the lives he touched, we will all have a little piece of Grandpa with us. All of my love to his family and friends.
    Love, Lorrie

  2. We only got to chat once and I just knew it was a start to a good friendship. My first impression of you was that you’re a kind, gentle, fun loving guy. My brother (William) thought the world of you. You two shared a special bond and I’ll always be grateful to you for the love and laughter you brought him.

I can only imagine the reunion you two had along with our parents and all the love ones that passed on before. You and William may be gone but never forgotten and the memories will be treasured a lifetime.

  3. Q: How did you meet Arthur?

A: I meet Art ar the MTR!! I have always adored Mr. Art! He is my best man and confident and I claim him as my dad, I only hope he did the same. And I know he did!!

The last time I saw Art was at Annemaries wedding, which was awesome, except for the fact that he was in a wheelchair! The other last time I saw him was at his 70th birthday party.

He had always worried about ùs going down, in the sand at Milledgeville Thunder Rally. He thought my left leg got hurt (the leg with titanium rods), but I know how to tuck……..LOL We were on his red Road King!! FUN TIMES WITH MY TEMPORARY DAD!!!!!!

I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACĶ!!! I will see you soon my dear Dad…….R.I.P.😪😏💖💔💘

  4. The two hardest things to say in life are Hello for the first time and Goodbye for the last time. I’ll never forget meeting Art the first time, he walked in and sat next to me at a bikers meeting. I was amazed at this tall huge beautiful man, he was magnificent! But I said Hello and our friend ship began. Now it’s Goodbye but we will miss his wonderful lust for life and fun! Art you will be forever in our hearts. We love you David and Luella.

  5. I have so many beautiful memories of my Buddy. Great rides and great times. Art was one of the best Men I knew. Ride On My Friend and Thank You..

  6. Art is a one of a kind. Door and heart always open. Him and Annemarie introduced to bike rally, Kid Rock concert and he loved to dance and laugh. The happiest man I know. I always called him my Rock and Roll dad. I love you and will miss you. Thank you for everything ❤️

  7. I met Art at Annies 5th Birthday. I have so many memories of Art: We as friends for many years One of my favorite memories is the day my son Shane was Christened Art was his God Parent. For years he coached David team and we spent days together, he put in a pool at his house and we all partied together. We ate together 3 nights a week. David and Art were always together. We partied together watching Bowl games for years. Art even through my finger nail polish out the back door. Even after they moved to Turtle Cove we partied together. Arthur I love you and miss you my sweet friend!!!!

  8. Our family will never be the same with out you, but we have good remember and fun time . We will miss you and God be with you.

  9. I loved the many times we got to ride our motorcycles together. The funniest memory I have (I’m thinking about 2005 or 2006) was the time my dad had flown in to atlanta and Art and Dianne, Annemarie, and my dad and I rode down to Panama City for one of several rallies we went to together. We had all ridden down to Apalachicola for the day and stopped for gas. When it was time to leave, Art took off not realizing that Dianne was not on the back of his bike! I can’t remember who chased him down, but someone stayed with Dianne and it took quite a few miles to get Art to pull over. He was cruising with a big grin on his face. When he got back to the gas station, he mentioned that he had been talking to Dianne the whole time not realizing she wasn’t there lol. Anyone that knew him, remembers how bad his hearing was, let alone blasting down the road on a Harley. Miss you buddy.

    • This is sooo many people’s funniest memory….he really was a character
