Vinai Kumpand

In loving memory of Vinai Kumpand Mr. Vinai Kumpand passed away suddenly at 3:00pm on September 15th, 2022, at the age of 70 years old. He is survived by his wife Chortip Kumpand and son Troy Kumpand. Vinai or known as Vi, was an amazing husband, father, and coworker and was loved by many people. He always had the biggest heart and would try and help in any situation as much as he could. Vi was the most selfless person and would sacrifice anything for the ones he loved. His smile could light up a room and his pranks were legendary. He always knew how to make the room laugh especially at his workplace, Dekalb Medical. He was always full of energy and wanted to make everyone’s day better. Vi loved golf, traveling, eating, and all of his friends and family. Vi was an amazing husband for 47 years to Chortip and the best dad for 27 years to his son Troy. He would always stay in touch and check up on everyone that he cared about. He will always be in our hearts and heaven has gained a true angel. We carry his legacy by showing love to one another.
