Ti'Shana Deshone Dorsey

Ti’Shana Deshone Dorsey gracefully began her life on January 13th, 2001 to Patrick Dorsey Sr. and Rhonda Smith in Gary, Indiana.Ti’Shana embarked on her educational journey at Clifton-Dale Elementary School in College Park, GA, she attended Renaissance Middle School in Fairburn, GA, where she was active in Performing Arts, and later attended Meadowcreek High School in Norcross, GA. where she earned her diploma with high honors maintaining a 3.8 grade point average throughout high school. While matriculating through high school, Ti’Shana participated in cheerleading, track and field, and the National Honors Society.Ti’Shana was currently a junior enrolled at Georgia State University majoring in Biological Science. Our beloved had aspirations of becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon. While attending Georgia State, Ti’Shana earned a spot on the “President’s List” for maintaining academic excellence both freshman and sophomore years of college.Ti’Shana was a true child of God and she trusted Him with all of her heart. She accepted Christ at an early age when attending Higher Living Christian Church under Pastor Andre Landers in Hampton, GA., she was an active member of Love Center Church under Pastor Byron Broussard in Atlanta, GA. Ti’Shana loved listening to gospel music as well as praying for herself and others.Ti’Shana enjoyed spending her summers in Champaign, IL, with her grandparents, auntie, and cousins. In her free time, she delighted in spending time with her brothers and father, reading books, shopping, working, hanging out with friends, and watching some of her favorite shows such as: Power and Grey’s Anatomy.On Thursday, September 29th, 2022, our Angel on earth transitioned to her heavenly home peacefully in her earthly home in Atlanta, GA, with her father by her side.Our beloved was proceeded in death by both paternal great-grandparents: L.Z. Dorsey Sr. and Estella Armstrong-Dorsey, both paternal grandparents: Eddie Pelmore Sr. and Irlean Dorsey-Pelmore, one (1) special aunt: Teressa Cobb-Morgan, in addition to a host of other family members.Ti’Shana leaves to cherish her memories: father, Patrick Dorsey Sr. of Atlanta, GA, mom, Rhonda Smith of Chicago, IL, six (6) brothers: Damion Johnson, David Smith, Aidan Nichols, Cleveland Morris, Landen Nichols, and Patrick Dorsey Jr., six (6) sisters: Da’Rhonda Smith, Rhonda Anderson, David’a Smith, Dashonda Patterson, Thomesha Anderson, and Kennedy Oliver, one (1) aunt: Nikki Dorsey of Champaign, IL, five (5) special cousins: ReNae Pelmore, Devonta Dorsey, Ellesse Dorsey, David Dorsey, and A’Miracle Dorsey, five (5) best friends: Santel Gokhul, Brooke Coleman, Jaylin Williams, Aiyanna McGhee, and Janye Tolliver, one (1) God-daughter: Zátara Crowell, one (1) God-brother Cordell Hunter, one (1) God-mom: Tia Alston, including a host of family, friends, and classmates.
