Edward A. Lindsley, age 79, of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Crestview Hills and Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, November 2, 2022, after a long and bravely fought battle against Parkinson’s Disease. A devoted and loving husband, brother, father and grandfather, Ed was a Northern Kentucky resident for 40 years. He was a careerlong educator and administrator at the Newport Adult Learning Center (Newport, Ky.), a horse racing enthusiast, a major league baseball and college football fan, and a doting “Eddie” to his grandkids. Preceded in death by Dana Lindsley, his loving wife of 46 years, Ed is survived by his wife of 5 years, Cheryle Lindsley of Marietta, Ga.; daughter Linda Lindsley Johnson of Marietta, Ga.; son John F. Lindsley of Roswell, Ga.; sister Madonna Franco of New Orleans, La.; and five grandchildren, Audrey Johnson, Colby Johnson, Kathryn Lindsley, Lauren Lindsley and Julia Lindsley. Private services will be held. Ed, Pete, and my Kaz shared more than an apartment while going to TSC. They shared one set of silverware, three cups, a few plates, many trips to the race track, and more laughter and crazy times than you can imagine. Glad I was included in a few of the crazy times.
