To the family of JoAnn
First I to start off by saying that I will truly miss her she was the sister I never had.I also want to say that the first time we meet at work she was quiet and to herself she always spoke when passing then after a while she start talking and feeling her way through after a minute me and her became friends and I started heading up to clean the tables I would stop by and tell her it was time to go and we both walk together than along came Juanita we all started clicking together and became friends. All three of us was together every chance we had a chance to be together at work and home. I really enjoyed her thank you all for sharing her with me. She will be truly missed and will always be in my heart though and prayers. She is my guardian angel 👼 Love Always Tammie

“Phenomenal Woman”
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I’m telling lies.
I say,
It’s in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.
I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It’s the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.
Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can’t touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can’t see.
I say,
It’s in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.
Now you understand
Just why my head’s not bowed.
I don’t shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It’s in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
‘Cause I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.

Q: What will you never forget about JoAnn?
A: I am at a loss for words but what I will never forget about Joann was how laid back and calm she was. Her smile and laugh were beautiful. All through high school, we had so much fun hanging out and laughing…just enjoying life. She is irreplaceable and my heart goes out to her and the whole family. The last time we spoke, she doted on her children and was so proud of them.
Love your cousin,
Tracy(Weaver) Bonham

JoAnn, I know your soul is at peace. I want to share how truly grateful I am for you being such an angel for my mom & I back when we were in a time of need. Your generosity, and compassion is greatly appreciated & will never be forgotten.
As a child I loved being over your house to hang with Jordan, Janelle, Erica and Oree. At both the house on Outer Drive in Detroit & in Palmetto. Such a beautiful family. You cooked soooo good. Wish my mom would’ve learned lol.
The Rhodes family can reach out to me if they need anything, ever. I will do my absolute best.
Your Spirit Lives Forever
Love,
