Marietta Southern Cremations & Funerals
Allyce Kane Arnold, daughter of Edward Kane (deceased) and Barbara Hafeman (Lyle), was born on January 25, 1961, in York, Pennsylvania.
She grew up in York, before moving to Atlanta, Georgia. When Allyce was a little girl, she spent her summers in the Thousand Islands at a cottage on Howe Island. There she learned to boat and sail and she always had a garden. In school she always excelled and was even a Mensa member. She graduated from York Suburban High School and continued her education at Penn State University.
As much as she excelled at school her dream was always to become a mother. She is survived by her daughter Tricia (Moran) Vered and her sons, Andrew Arnold Jr. (Maria), Jacob Arnold, Lucas Arnold, and Clayton Arnold as well as 1, soon to be 2, grandchildren.
In 2000, Allyce joined Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers in Marietta, GA as a Realtor. Here she found her second passion and truly excelled. She received numerous awards including Hall of Fame and Millionaire’s Club, but more importantly was always a mentor to her fellow realtors and happy to help anyone who asked.
Many people came to her throughout the years because she was such an open hearted person willing to offer help or a home cooked meal to anyone who asked. There is nothing she would not do for her friends, her children, stray animals and even strangers on the street. She gave of herself as she felt God called her to and she will be missed by many.
Allyce Kane Arnold died on Monday, November 21, 2022. The family will receive guests and friends at 11:00 AM, followed by a celebration of life beginning, at 12:00 PM on December 10, 2022, at Eastside Baptist Church, 2450 Lower Roswell Rd. Marietta, GA 30068. Memorial contributions can be made to the family at https://gofund.me/171aace3

Allyce and I were friends in the 1980’s. She was the best person I’ve ever known.
I’m so sad to learn of Tricia’s passing. Great memories as young mom’s together when Tricia and Drew were young. Know she loved bring a grandmother. Blessings to all her children.
Love and prayers,
Chrystie Moody
