Marty M. Davies

Marty M. Davies passed away suddenly on November 9, 2022. He went to be with the Creator and all mighty God at the age of 75 years old. Marty was born in Freetown on March 15, 1947. He is lovingly remembered by his son, Saye Maitland Davies; daughter, Mathia Davies; sisters, Evelyn Ide Gottermann and Hectoria Ayo Jones; niece, Shelly Gottermann; daughter-in-law, Ify B. Davies; four grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends in the United States, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Marty's life was dedicated to improving the world through his passion for architecture and design. As a professional architect and building designer, he was recognized by his peers and community as a gift and rare talent. He was a long-standing member of the American Institute of Architects, the American Institute of Building Designers, the New Jersey Society of Architects and the National Council of Building Designers.
