Erin was born in Korea on May 25, 1979. She became part of our family in 1982.
She loved gymnastics and was a cheerleader in high school. She had a degree in textile engineering technology. At the time of her death, she was a supply chain analyst at a large company.
Erin is survived by her loving family: Mother, four brothers and sisters, ten nieces and nephews.
We are thankful that she is now with the Lord in Heaven, and with her dad. We are resting in the comfort of that.
The family will have a private service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), or a charity of your choice.

Erin was my childhood best friend. The first one I can remember. After my family moved away we wrote letters every once in a while. I can’t remember when we last talked – maybe I was in high school or college. But I always thought about her and still have photos from my birthday parties and sleepovers. I remember feeling welcomed at her house by her large wonderful family. You guys made me love the idea of adoption and fostering. I’m truly sad to learn of Erin’s passing – she was so young. Not sure why I thought to look her up today. I’ll always remember her sweet soul and all the goofy laughter we shared as little kids. I don’t know much about her life but she was still treasured and loved by me.
