Helen G. Hodges

Helen Gazaway Hodges, 85, of Atlanta and Conyers, Georgia, died peacefully December 12th, 2022 in Griffin, Georgia. She was born May 12th, 1937 to Houston and Helen Gazaway. She is retired from the State of Georgia after many years of service. Helen is predeceased by her husband, Jack Harris Hodges who passed away May 4th, 1979. Helen is also predeceased by her sister, Barbara McCracken Henry as well as a daughter, Pamala Dimaio and a grandson Jason Daniel Hodges She is survived by her son, David Hodges and his wife Barbara and their son David Heath Hodges, her daughter Teddi Hodges Lay and husband Walter Lay and their daughter Jacqueline Morgan; she is also survived by her son, Daniel Ray Hodges of Edgewater, Florida and his son Rusty David Hodges of Ellenwood, Georgia. She leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of Brightmoor Hospice In Griffin, Georgia, for their loving care of Helen in her final months of life. A service for Helen has not been announced
