Mitchell, CR (Mitch) passed away peacefully at home on Dec 16, 2022 at the age of 85. He was born in Sugar Hill, GA on Feb 11, 1937. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Helen Cox Mitchell, and his son, David W Donaldson. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Valerie Nolin and his grandson, Jonathan Mitchell Nolin of Woodstock, GA.
Mitch was a generous, kind, and humorous person and we are so grateful he was in our lives. He worked in the heating and air supply business in metro Atlanta for 60 years.
Special thanks to his helper and friend, Brenda Aguirre, Northside hospital wound care center, and Carl Berry, his friend and adviser.
A celebration of life will be held following the Christmas holidays.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Atlanta Union Mission.

I had heard of Chamblee before in conversations but I only met Chamblee one time. He was a dear friend of my mothers and they had lost touch for many years. He was a kind man. He is well remembered by our family. Prayers for his many family members and friends.
