Connie Leigh Dodd Clark

Connie Leigh Dodd Clark,79, of 231 Dorys Way, Dallas, GA 30157, died February 1, 2023. Born August 28, 1943, in Pittsylvania County in Danville, Virginia, she was the daughter of late James Elton Dodd and late Virginia “Ginny” Connie Lacey Dodd. Connie was a realtor with RE/MAX in Georgia and Virginia Auction Company. She was a life member of the Million Dollar Club, Top Producer of RE/MAX, and active on the board of realtors. Ms. Clark is survived by two children, son Mark Arnold Clark and wife, Karen of Shelbyville, Tennessee and daughter Michelle Leigh Clark Burell and husband Billy of Dallas, Georgia: brother Jerry Giles Dodd and wife Norma of Danville, Virginia. She is also survived by her grandchildren Joey Clark, Michael Alex Caranfa and wife, Christine, Nicole Wadsworth and husband, Dan, Christian Burell and wife, Madison; her great-grandchildren, Madison Clark, Lucas Wadsworth, Leo and Amelia Caranfa. Her nieces and nephews, Karen Beale and husband, Bryan, Kim Petrovich and husband, Jeff, James E. Dodd, III and wife, Ansley.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, James “Jimmy” Elton Dodd, Jr. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday February 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Burial Park and one in Myrtle Beach, SC April 30, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. More information for the SC celebration of life will be posted on Michelle Burell’s or Connie Clark’s Facebook page.
