Edward J Hudak, 81, passed away on February 14, 2023, after suffering from a massive heart attack.
Edward leaves behind his daughter, Denise Chiara; his twin sons, Joseph and Edward Jr.; daughter-in-law, Debbi; six grandchildren, Veronica, Alicia, Richie, Michael, Katie and Joie; his sister, Eleanor; and many extended family and friends.
Edward was born in Manhattan on November 20, 1941. He later moved to Flushing, NY. He worked with his dad at an elevator company where he met the love of his life, Arlene. They married and enjoyed an amazing life in New York. He worked as an elevator repair mechanic with NYCHA for 38 years. They retired to Roswell, GA and enjoyed a wonderful life there for over 20 years.
"Eddie" loved garage estate sales and shopping at Goodwill. He was known as Mr. Home Improvement.
In his younger years, he always had a camera ready. Luckily, we have those photos and videos forever.
Eddie was also known as the dog whisperer. He always had a treat ready for all the dogs in the neighborhood. He will be missed by his beloved dog, Tina.
Eddie took his last elevator ride up to the sky to meet his beloved wife of Valentine's Day.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Chimney Lakes Clubhouse in Roswell, GA. Another celebration will take place in New York on Saturday, March 18, 2023 for his "NY Peeps."
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Our warmest condolences, Prayer always Kimberly, Michele Christina and Robert
