Annie Lieving Williams

ANNIE RUTH LEWIS LIEVING-WILLIAMS, 88 of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully February 15, 2023, at 8:05 p.m. Following a long, courageous fight, Annie Ruth was born in Atlanta, GA, to her parents Lois Lampkin Lewis and George Augustus Lewis. Annie was employed as a civil servant with the Air National Guard at Dobbins Air Force Base. She was a great friend to all she met. She led a very active and amazing life. She enjoyed bowling, golf, square dancing with the Star Shooters dance club, line dancing, playing cards with friends, camping, and living a good part of several years either at the beautiful Unicoi Springs Resort in Helen, GA, or in south Texas. She enjoyed cruising and traveling the world. Annie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lois Lampkin Lewis and George Augustus Lewis; her first husband, Malvern (Mal) Lieving; second husband, Ray Williams; her son, David Wayne Lieving; and sisters, Jeanette Wilson and Carol Snider. Annie was survived by her brother Carl Lewis (Jo) from Villa Rica, GA; son Daniel (Dan) Lieving, from Cartersville, GA; daughters, Lynda Lieving Mayes (Lamarr) from Fairmount, GA and Lisa Annette Lieving Rodgers (Dave) from Dawsonville, GA; and daughter in-law Debra Lieving from Cartersville, GA, 9 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; son and daughters in love, Larry Williams (Adriana) from Erlanger, KY, Jane Williams Latimer (Dennis) from Cumming, GA; and Jeanne Williams Smith (John) from Dawsonville, GA; including their 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was an adoring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was full of life and filled with love for all her family, friends and even strangers. Annie will be forever missed and loved! Until we meet again......
