Carol Grubbs peacefully passed at Tranquility at Cobb on February 24th, 2023, at the age of 67. Carol was born in Fort Bragg on July 29th, 1955. She is predeceased by her loving Husband, Brothers Terry and Billy and Sisters Beth and Gail. Carol is lovingly remembered by her sons John Grubbs (Shannon) James Grubbs Sr. Daughter April Stansell (Warren) Grandchildren Jacob Grubbs, James Grubbs Jr. Lucas Grubbs, Lincoln Grubbs, Mara Latham, Summer Latham, Brianna Montgomery, Tristan Montgomery, Autumn Hurndon and Brother and Sister Bobby Long and Barbara Wilson. We would like to send a special thanks to Tranquility at Cobb and WellStar Hospice.

Q: How did you meet Carol?
A: I met Carol when she began dating my oldest brother, Albert. She instantly became family to me. I didn’t think of her as just a sister-in-law, we were true family at heart. She has been in my life since I was a teen. She gave me my first job, she was always there for me. She will be missed, but I know she is no longer in pain.
