Zachariah Jawan Lyons

Zachariah Jawan Lyons was born January 11th, 2001, in Rockingham, NC to Sheila Lyons and Jerome Courts. Zachariah will always be remembered for his infectious smile and loving aura. His love for nature and everything to do with the stars and moon made his presence feel calming and welcoming at all times. Throughout his battle with kidney problems, he kept a smile on his face and fought hard. Nothing could stand in the way of Zachariah and his love for his family, not even Dialysis treatment or a kidney transplant. He was the bright star in a cloudy night sky. Zachariah passed suddenly on March 21st, 2023; his loss left a void in the hearts of those who truly knew him.Before he departed, Zachariah was attending Chattahoochee Tech to acquire his G.E.D., he was one math exam shy of completing the course and graduating. There was never a day that Zachariah wasn’t fighting and striving to grow and prosper. He is deeply remembered by many, including but not limited to; brothers Jerome Courts (Little Jerome) and Elijah Courts; sister Alayshia Wilson, Loveing Grandparents (Nana) Mary Lyons and Howard Roach, many aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. We thank all who have been sending loving and encouraging words during this hard time. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 31st, 2023, from 2pm to 5pm at Southern Cremations and Funerals in Marietta, GA.
