Kimberly Kay Thompson (Lil Kim) was the center of any party and devoted her life to be the best mother, Grammy, spouse and friend. Kimberly passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2023. She was born December 6, 1967 to Wayman Harp and Margaret Long in Atlanta, GA. Kimberly was preceded in death by both of her loving parents. She is survived by her soulmate and partner Ray Stephens Jr; sister Angie Henson (Todd) and their children Patrick and Keri; stepfather Robert Long; children Brent Stephens (Emily), Tabitha Jones (Chris), Mike Thompson (Bonnie), Tabitha Chapman (James) , Preston Stephens, and Bonus daughter Tiffany Morrison (Shane); grandchildren Angela, Emily, Alex, Aubrey, Katie, Alaina, Shane Jr, Nolan, Colton, Cathryn, Elijah, Madison, McKinley; and a host of family and friends left to cherish her memory. There will be a Celebration of Life to follow in the coming months.

My dearest mama! I miss you! You were my very best friend and I will miss you every second of every day. The only comfort that I have and what is preventing me from falling apart is, you are no longer in pain and I know you are filled with JOY for being able to see nanny. I made a promise to you that I will always be strong for your GRANDsons as you always wrote. You raised me to never give up or cave under pressure. I know for sure you was always proud of me. I love you wholebigamuch!
She was a amazing person and always had a heart of gold. I know she was a good friend to my mama and now they are in heaven together… She loved them grand babies.. Kim give my mama a hug for me and y’all two give Heaven some hell💜💜

I never met Kim in person but I know she had a love and heart of gold! She and my Angel Matt are praising God! Matt loved her!❤️🙏😘
