Q: How did you meet Gerald?
A: I meet Jerry when I had married his Brother Tom in 1997. Tom and I went to Georgia where Jerry and His Wife and Family live. Jerry was a Great Man. There was never a dull moment with Jerry, he was always telling jokes and Tom and Jerry would get their guitars out or Jerry would play his harmonica. We would go to the hunting camp and go hunting and do some good cooking and of course there would be music playing. I really enjoyed being apart of the Family. Tom passed away in February 2004. We always keep in touch. Jerry ( Bro) you will truly be missed. You are up in Heaven with Your Family Now. Until we meet again. Love Mary Galloway Brant
I have a lot of good memories with my Dad. I was blessed to come from a family that loves family, music, food, good humor and celebrating each other. Never a dull moment. I will miss our phone conversations. He loved hearing about our family history I learned on Ancestry and I loved hearing his stories growing up. He was truly the life of the party. There wasn’t a joke he didn’t know and you were sure to get a good laugh when he was around. I will miss making Limpka (Swedish noodles and beef) with him. He said I needed to pay attention so when he was gone I could pass it down. Dementia robbed him and his family of his life and memory. There were glimpses of us still left from time to time. I know he’s whole now with his loved ones and with our creator, God and his son Jesus. You will love in our hearts. This is not goodbye. This is until we meet again. I love you, Dad!
I remember when he was doing business on the phone, he would always put on the movie star glasses. This was before cellphones. He was a great man and was vital in my young adult life. May God keep you under his wing in the kingdom of Heaven!
Pots use to call me the long legged babydoll. He would take me and my cousin Easton on his scooter around the yard to the pear trees. I know he loves me so much and I love him too.
I was married to his younger brother Pat and I used to enjoy when Jerry and Jean and the kids would come down to Florida and visit his mama Linnea, and they always sang, played guitars. It was just fun times God rest his soul. 💕💕🙏🏼🙏🏼

Jerry will be deeply missed by family & friends alike. Those closest to him knows my fondest memory. I won’t go into the whole story on here but it has to do with LEMONS ! I was actually trying to get him to throw away his beer & drink some lemonade i’d brought . lol. The joke went on for years & we all had a lot of laughs about it. I sent so much lemon stuff to him through the years. I will forever think of him any time I see or hear about lemons ! With Love. R.I.P. Jerry. Love, your Lemon Lady.
