Marietta Southern Cremations & Funerals
Brenda Faye Oliver was born on February 19, 1954, in Cleveland, GA, and passed away at 2:40am on June 26, 2023.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, David Ronald Oliver; Daughters Erinn (Elijah) Williams of Dallas, GA, and Emily (Adam) Tingen of Winston Salem, NC; grandchildren Reed, Nash and Dessa Williams, and Caleb and Riley Tingen; and her sister Barbara Sue Meyer of Lawrenceville, GA.
Brenda attended Toccoa Falls High School in Toccoa, GA and formerly worked for Coca Cola and as a registered dietician at Teasley Elementary in Smyrna, GA. She spent most of her years as a loving mother and housewife, and she adored her grandbabies and loved to buy them things they didn’t need just because she could. She had a gentle soul with a penchant for gambling and junk food and she could often be found sitting on her front porch enjoying her coffee and watching the birds.
One thing you could always count on with Brenda was her calling to sing you Happy Birthday on your special day. She also had a fondness for knick-knacks and catalogs, and she truly was a people person that never met a stranger. She had a knack for learning someone’s life story within minutes of meeting them and could make the hardest person open up and share with her. Even a delivery person would make a stop and leave with her as their friend, she was just that type of person.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home at a date still to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in her honor.

You were the best mom and I miss you so much.
