Marietta Southern Cremations & Funerals
Destinee France was born on January 30, 2002, to James and Chastity France. She and her twin brother, Elijah, were born prematurely and due to numerous complications surrounding their birth, they were not expected to make it. However, they defied the odds and proved everyone wrong.
Destinee was a fighter from the start and even though she had some limitations, she developed a personality of her own over the years. She enjoyed attending Hiram Elementary School and was a stellar student. Ms. Gandy was her favorite teacher. Destinee also loved chilling and listening to music. Her family affectionately called her Diva because at times, she had a major attitude and didn't want to be bothered (particularly when it was time for physical therapy with Amy). At other times, she would belt out the most infectious laugh and seemed to be entertained and amused by angels. Oftentimes, she appeared surprisingly aware of her surroundings and found it particularly funny when her mom and dad were yelling at her siblings.
Throughout her lifetime, Destinee was surrounded by the love and support of a large family and friends. Left to mourn are her parents, James and Chastity France, and her siblings, Haniya Ricks, Elijah France and Jeremiah France. In addition, all of her grandparents survive her: Cleopatra and Winston France, Julian Hampton, Sr. and Lydia Porter Perkins. Her uncles and aunts are: Antoinette France-Harris and Kirk Harris, Otis and Charline Rolley, Makeda Garraway, Tysheem and Aiyo Porter, Julian and Nicole Hampton, Chasen and Shaquana Hampton, Ebony Hampton, Edith Serrano, and Leah Hampton. In addition, Destinee has numerous cousins and other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Today, we celebrate the life of Destinee France and rejoice that she is in a better place now!

‘Those we love must someday
pass beyond our present sight…
Must leave us and the world
we know without their radiant light.
But we know that like a candle
their lovely light will surely shine
to brighten up another place
more perfect… more divine.
And in the realm of Heaven where
they shine so warm and bright.
Our loved ones live forevermore
in God’s eternal light.’
