Mr. Robert W. Marshall

Robert W. Marshall, 71, of Marietta GA, passed away on October 11, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife, Paula; daughters Alison Crawford (Isaac), Torrey O'Conner (Ryan) and Amanda DeLong (Brian). He also leaves his brothers Dale Marshall (M.J), John Marshall (Chris), Keith Marshall (Karen) also his sisters Susan Marshall-Coray and Wendy Hughes (Steve). Mr. Marshall is survived by his beloved grandchildren Jillian, David, Daniel, Brenden, Lucas, Hannah, Rachel and Ruthie and multiple nieces and nephews. He received his B.S degree from SEMO also was a member of SIGMA PHI EPSILON and went on to be an officer and U.S Naval Pilot Retired as a Captain, Eastern Airlines CAPT and Air Tran AIR lines CAPT. He ended his career as a contact pilot. The Senior Group at BSLC and Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church was where he was an usher and greeter. They will miss this support and participation. He was also known for being an excellent pilot. He also enjoyed doing yard work, cooking barbeque in his Big Green Egg and any project relating to engineering. He was always willing and ready to help others in need. Mr. Marshall will be missed greatly by many family members and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his honor to the following charities; The Lutheran Hour (www.LCMS.org.) The Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, (www.bslc.us,), Overcomers World Church (www.overcomerswc.com) or even Tranquility at Kennesaw Wellstar Community Hospice (www.wellstar.org) . The family will receive friends at the church on Monday October 28, 2013 at 10:00-11:00am. The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am at The Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 2240 Shallowford Rd. Marietta GA 30066. Pastor Bitter will be officiating the service. A Committal Service will follow at The Georgia National Cemetery at 2:30pm with full Military Honors
